I’m a figurative and portrait artist creating work centred on people, identity and connection. Through pencil and mixed media, I explore the stories we carry with us – the relationships, memories and moments that shape how we see ourselves and each other.
My work is often informed by lived experience, queer life, memory and popular culture. Whether exploring joy, resilience, nostalgia, vulnerability or self-expression, I’m interested in the emotions that bond us and the stories that make us who we are.
Pencil is often my starting point – the medium I naturally return to – but I work across a range of materials including pastel, watercolour, fine marker, digital and embellishment to create layered pieces with colour, texture and personality.
Alongside my studio practice, I create commissioned work, collaborating closely with clients to tell personal stories through art in a way that feels thoughtful, authentic and true to them.
At the heart of it all, I just love making work about people.
If you’d like to chat about a piece, commission, collaboration, or simply say hello, I’d love to hear from you.
