First, Last, Everything (2025): Commission
Pencil and pastel on black paper, (59.4 x 84.1 cm).
First, Last, Everything depicts a couple’s first kiss as a married pair. Named after their wedding song, You’re the First, the Last, My Everything by Barry White, the piece centres on commitment and devotion – the weight of choosing one another, while holding past, present and future in the same moment.
It captures a quiet sense of permanence, where a single, fleeting gesture carries something much bigger – a shared history, and everything still to come.
